PVI acquires R-man
Per Vannesjö Industri AB (PVI) today acquired R-man in Värnamo AB from the parent company Polstiernan Industri AB.
R-man is a leading manufacturer of bending pipes for the automotive industry and other engineering industries. The business has a turnover of approximately 100 million and has about 50 employees in Värnamo.

PVI is an industrial group based in Västerås, which has a turnover of approximately 550 million with approximately 260 employees. PVI also has holdings in two related industrial groups, Inducore AB (www.inducore.se) and AnVa Industries AB (www.anva.se), which is incorporated as an associated company in PVI. Including these groups, total turnover is approximately 2.5 billion.

"Through the sale of R-man we can focus on our work to further develop Polstiernan Industri with the furniture industry as the main customer segment. The new owner has solid industrial skills, including extensive experience in the automotive industry and other engineering industries, and also has a long-term focus. I am convinced that R-man will be able to benefit from the new owner and group ownership, "says Jörgen Ekdal, CEO of Polstiernan Industri AB.

Per Vannesjö, owner of PVI, comments that "R-man has undergone a powerful turn-around over the last year and is today a profitable company. There is considerable potential in cooperation with other PVI companies, primarily Ekenäs Mekaniska AB in Ekenässjön, outside of Vetlanda, with a focus on pipe bending, and EssKå Metallindustri AB in Landeryd outside Hylte, which uses sheet metal, mainly through hydration. I look forward to taking over my team with the relay pin and further developing R-man. "

The local management of R-man continues unchanged with Peter Bossius as Deputy Head and Erik Reuser Sales Manager. Anders Thålin becomes new CEO after Jörgen Ekdal.
